KEY POINTS
- It's speculated that Alexis Sanchez will be part of the exchange that may bring Jadon Sancho to Manchester United
- Manchester United has prioritized signing top talent such to the team
- This doesn't bother Paul Pogba as he remains to be motivated to play for the Red Devils
The roster of Manchester United is looking to add more depth with the latest rumors of the Red Devils gaining interest for key prospects such as Jadon Sancho. Despite the hype for Sancho, heavily criticized key player Paul Pogba remains determined to give everything he has for his club.
Per Red Devil Armada, Manchester United has been prioritizing Sancho so much that they’re considering shipping veteran Alexis Sanchez to make it possible to bring the Borussia Dortmund star to Old Trafford.
The 31-year-old is currently on loan at Inter Milan and has been with the team in 15 appearances. The two-time English FA Cup winner still has veteran experience under his belt and can be serviceable to other teams.
With the hype and the anticipation for Sancho, unloading Alexis as part of the deal may help Manchester United. One of the priorities of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his team is to recruit young players who possess the winning attitude of a champion.
Despite the focus being on Sancho, Pogba remains determined to show everyone that he’s one of the best players in the world. Throughout his stay with Manchester United, the former World Cup winner has made a total of 150 appearances. In this stint, he’s scored 31 goals and tallied 31 assists.
There’s no question that Pogba is one of the game’s top stars hence the heavy expectations and pressure on him from the Manchester United faithful. Fellow Frenchman Louis Saha adds that Pogba has the drive to continue playing at an elite level.
"When I talk to him on the phone, he's super motivated, so I really want to see not a new Pogba, but Pogba with support. I don't think he was supported. Now he has Bruno Fernandes next to him, who's another leader, another creator," Saha said by way of Goal.com.
It will be interesting to see how the duo of Pogba and the newly acquired Fernandes pan out in the near future. But for now, Pogba has been burning with passion to make the most out of his stint with the Red Devils.
