Paulina Gretzky is her fiancé Dustin Johnson's “biggest fan” as she expressed her love for him on social media after his win at the 2020 Masters Tournament Sunday.
The model, 31, took to Instagram a day after the tournament to celebrate Johnson's accomplishment, uploading a photo of them kissing.
“Honey, I'm forever & always your biggest fan,” Gretzky wrote in her sweet tribute to her golfer beau Monday. “So proud of you @djohnsonpga.”
Johnson also shared the same photo, captioning it: “Dreams do come true ... we did it @paulinagretzky.” The kiss, which went viral, happened after Johnson got his second major title.
In an interview with Golfweek, Johnson talked about his family, explaining that golf used to be the most important thing for him. He and Gretzky share two kids, Tatum and River Jones.
“And now, it’s Paulina and the kids. And they’ll always be the most important,” the golfer said.
“Obviously, I love the game of golf, competing, and playing. But they’re the most important thing,” Johnson added.
Gretzky previously described her husband as “the best dad” and called him “my best friend,” People reported. She also revealed that Johnson has been so supportive of her.
Johnson popped the question to Gretzky in 2013. Through the years, the pair have been open about their ups and downs.
Following separation rumors in 2018, Johnson explained on Twitter that it’s normal for relationships to go through bumps. But despite this, he said that they “love each other very much and are committed to being a family.”
Before the win, Johnson battled coronavirus and missed two tournaments, the Zozo Championship at Sherwood Country Club in California and CJ Cup in Las Vegas.
“It's one of those things where, because I had no idea where I got it from, obviously I thought about it and tried to figure it out,” he said, adding that he may have caught the virus in Las Vegas.
“I felt like I had a cold for a few days, and then after that I didn't, so I was pretty much asymptomatic," Johnson shared. "A little fatigue and things like that, but I couldn't really figure out if that was because I was stuck in a hotel room for like 11 days not doing anything or it was COVID that made me feel that way."
