Adelaide will warn Molly
The interrogation of Diego (Adan Rocha) will begin in “Penny Dreadful: City of Angels,” episode 6. A preview video and the plot synopsis of the next episode have been released online. Meanwhile, cast member Natalie Dormer spoke about what it’s like to play the dark character Magda on the show in a recent interview.
A preview video of the next episode shows Tiago (Daniela Zovatto) and Lewis (Nathan Lane) taking Diego for interrogation. The scarred and beaten up Diego will not say anything to officers, which will test their patience.
Tiago will get so angry with Diego that at one point he will ask Lewis to leave the room for a minute. Will the officers use torture to get the information they need? One of the scenes in the preview shows Tiago grabbing hold of their suspect and banging his head hard on the table.
The relationship between Lewis and Tiago will also be tested in the next episode. The preview video shows the two officers in an ugly confrontation in which Lewis reminds his partner how many times he has stuck his neck out for Tiago.
According to the plot synopsis of “Penny Dreadful: City of Angels,” episode 6 the other storylines include Adelaide (Amy Madigan) warning Molly (Kerry Bishé) about her personal desire. Councilman Charlton Townsend (Michael Gladis) will learn about Kurt’s (Dominic Sherwood) “surprising” past, and Peter Craft (Rory Kinnear) will make a “dramatic decision” when it comes to his marriage with Linda (Piper Perabo).
Among the major plotlines of the show, there is the investigation of the Hazlett family murder. According to a theory by Screen Rant, Adelaide was the one who ordered the killing.
Adelaide is known for being ruthless when it comes to staying ahead, and the fact that Molly was sleeping with a married man may have come in the way of her plans. The character also has a man who appears to be willing to do anything for her, and he may have been the one who committed the murders.
In a recent interview with Collider, Dormer said that the plot of the TV series is “very conspiracy theory-esque.” As far as her character is concerned, the actress pointed out that having a supernatural element on the show not only helps in putting the show in a particular genre but it also helps raise the stakes.
“Penny Dreadful: City of Angels,” episode 6 is titled “How It Is with Brothers.” It will air on May 31 at 10 p.m. EDT on Showtime.
