‘People v. O.J. Simpson’ Spoilers: Episode 2 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘The Run Of His Life’?
You can run, O.J. (Cuba Gooding Jr.), but you can’t hide.
When the FX series premiere of “The People v. O.J. Simpson” concluded Tuesday night, audiences were left on the edge of their seats as O.J. sped down Interstate 710 in an attempt to flee from the police. And according to the synopsis for the upcoming installment, titled “The Run of His Life,” episode 2 of “American Crime Story” will kick off with the iconic 1994 Bronco chase when it airs Tuesday, Feb. 9.
“With O.J. Simpson missing in the white Bronco, Robert Shapiro (John Travolta) and Robert Kardashian (David Schwimmer) deal with the fallout,” the summary begins, adding that while O.J.'s legal team tries to mend the situation the D.A. and LAPD will “scramble to save face and find him.”
In the premiere, Officer Tom Lange (Chris Bauer) made a deal with the devil, allowing Shapiro to drive their celebrity murder suspect to prison in an attempt to avoid a media frenzy. But as it turns out, Shapiro’s word wasn’t as “gold” as he said it was. So, when the clock struck 11 a.m., the LAPD went to personally pick up the late suspect.
However, when they finally arrived to Robert’s home, which is where O.J. was hiding out, they learned The Juice had run away. As they searched the home looking for the suicidal suspect, Robert found out that his buddy had snuck out the back door ... and had taken the bloodstained Bronco with him.
“Oh, my God,” Prosecutor Marcia Clark (Sarah Paulson) says after learning the suspect has flown the coop. “We’re going to look like morons.”
Episode 2 of the FX drama “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” will air Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 10 p.m. EST.
