People’s Choice Awards 2016: What Celebrities Are Attending? Seating Chart Photos Released
Tune into CBS at 9 p.m. EST tonight because your favorite celebrities are attending the first big award show of the year – the 2016 People’s Choice Awards! “Angel from Hell” star Jane Lynch will be hosting the 42nd annual event, which will bring out the biggest names in music, film and TV. Nominees this year include Kaley Cuoco, Taylor Kinney, Ashley Benson, Nick Jonas, Ian Somerhalder and more – but what stars will actually be at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles? We’re breaking down the guest list thanks to some seating chart photos that were posted online!
The official Instagram for the People’s Choice Awards uploaded a couple of photos Tuesday night of the empty theater. But while the crowds of celebrities are missing, the pictures reveal who will be in attendance – and who they will be sitting next to!
Jason Derulo and Shawn Mendes are both performing at the People’s Choice Awards and will be sitting next to each other in the crowd. “Pretty Little Liars” stars Shay Mitchell, Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson and Troian Bellisario will take over a row, sitting right behind “The Talk” co-host Sharon Osbourne and in front of “Workaholics” actor Adam DeVine. Close by will be “Grey’s Anatomy” stars Ellen Pompeo, Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson and James Pickens Jr.
While those are the only seating photos released on Instagram, the People’s Choice Awards also shared a list on their blog of celebrity guests set to appear. “Colony” star Josh Holloway will be in attendance, along with “Big Bang Theory” actress Mayim Bialik. Superstar Britney Spears will walk the red carpet, as well as “50 Shades of Grey” lead Dakota Johnson and “Game of Thrones” star Natalie Dormer.
