Pete Davidson Gets New Tattoo After Kate Beckinsale’s ‘Gay’ Comment
Kate Beckinsale’s beau Pete Davidson has so many tattoos that it’s no longer shocking when he gets a new one. But this week, the “Saturday Night Live” star may have outdone himself as he rocked his biggest ink yet after his latest tattoo session.
On Thursday, New York-based artist Ryan Mullins revealed on Instagram his latest creation: a muscular unicorn on Davidson’s forearm. The skin art is so elaborate that many of the artist’s followers gave mixed reactions to the mythical creature’s appearance.
It wasn’t clear why Davidson chose a unicorn for his latest indelible skin design. W Magazine said it could be a tribute to his rebound from ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande. However, it could also be a sign of the status of his heart with his newfound love.
According to Unicorns Rule, the website of unicorn lovers, unicorns, particularly in the phrase “rainbows, butterflies and unicorns,” could mean the feeling of walking on clouds as one’s new relationship takes off.
As of late, Davidson is fostering a romance with Beckinsale. And while the two are said to be not looking for some serious commitment at this point in their lives, the funnyman’s new tattoo could be hinting at the opposite.
Just last weekend, the “Underworld” actress and the stand-up comedian packed on some PDA when they watched a the New York Rangers game in Madison Square Garden. The two were photographed locking lips and not minding the attention given to them by some of the people among the crowd.
The photo of the couple kissing even became a viral meme, which stirred a reaction from Beckinsale recently. Apparently, “Queer Eye” star Antoni Porowski was inadvertently captured sitting beside the passionate couple. So Instagram page Diet Broke poked fun at the photo by labeling the three celebs.
Beckinsale was labeled as “Me” while Davidson was tagged as “Guys with problems from childhood who I can ‘fix.’” On the other hand, Porowski was labeled as one of the “Wholesome guys with good paying jobs who text back and have no baggage.”
When Beckinsale stumbled upon the meme, she couldn’t help but comment on how it’s inappropriately done. “Antoni is gay, if that helps clarify at all #queereye,” the actress wrote.
Davidson, 25, and Beckinsale, 45, first made headlines together after they were spotted getting hot and heavy during a Golden Globes after-party early this year. The two have become inseparable since then.
Prior to dating Davidson, Beckinsale was linked to Matt Rife, 23, and Jack Whitehall, 30. A source said that Beckinsale loves the attention she’s getting from younger guys following her divorce from director Len Wiseman in 2016.
