Phaedra Parks And Apollo Nida Divorcing? 'I Can't Say If It's Going To Last,' 'RHOA' Cast Mate Says Amid Legal Issues
Apollo Nida and Phaedra Parks may be heading towards a divorce, after hearing Nida’s recent comments about their marriage. Nida of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” opened up about his relationship in a recent interview.
Speaking to Sister 2 Sister, he opened up about first falling in love with Parks, with whom he has two children. “I really admired everything that she did as a woman. I think that we have lost sight of the true picture, which is that we did take an oath to God and we did build a family and a brand. Whatever has come of this reality fiasco, we have had two beautiful children, and at the end of the day, I only wish her the best."
But when asked about the state of their marriage, Nida sounded unsure. “I can’t say if it’s going to last. But I hope that it does … I definitely love her. I’ve grown to love her more," he said.
Nida is already in legal trouble, after being accused of stealing people’s identities to apply for loans and create more than 40 fraudulent bank accounts. An investigation into the operation began in February 2012, and he has subsequently been charged by federal authorities with bank fraud and identity theft.
If convicted, he faces several years in prison. And this won’t be the first time he serves time in prison. Nida also served time in prison from 2004-2009 for auto title fraud. But in addition to legal trouble, Nida has also been in trouble with his wife, after accusations that he engaged in inappropriate conduct with fellow ‘RHOA’ cast mate Kenya Moore. He since denied their relationship was inappropriate, though there were numerous text messages between the two that Parks had been unaware of.
“I’ve apologized to Phaedra numerous times,” Nida later said, admitting it was wrong for him to be in private correspondence with Kenya. But he denied any wrong doing regarding the nature of the messages. “My text messages weren’t sensual. They’re not sexual in any way.”
