On March 8, Prince William and his Princess-to-be Kate Middleton arrived in Northern Ireland as part of their pre-wedding tour of the United Kingdom. The visit included a courtesy call on the Lord Mayor of Belfast, Pat Convery, a traditional Shrove Tuesday pancake-making celebration, and a play at the Youth Action Northern Ireland Centre in Belfast.
In recent weeks the couple has visited Anglesey in Wales, and their alma matter of St. Andrews in Scotland. The couple, along with Prince Charles, also visited Westminster Abbey to hear some of the music that will be played at their wedding ceremony.
