Physically Abusive, Fitness Fanatic Dad Makes Daughter Sign Lifelong 'Contract' To Never Get Fat

A fitness-obsessed dad made his daughter sign a lifelong "contract" that she would work out a lot and never get fat while also weighing her almost every day to make sure she doesn’t pack on the pounds. The father of three also stands accused of assaulting his children.

Rachid Khadla, 56, of Windsor in Berkshire, U.K. was arrested in October 2019 and his inquest was held Tuesday.

Khadla assaulted his daughter, Amira, hitting her with a spoon, punching her in the chest, and on one occasion throwing a chair at her. The domineering father reportedly also beat his two sons, Hicham and Karim, with a spoon if he believed they had misbehaved. He even choked his younger son, Hicham, now 18, who has learning difficulties, for being too slow in cleaning his sister’s room.

Khalda choked Hicham in October 2019 after which he shared his plight with his friends as the family celebrated Amira’s university graduation. His friends then informed the school staff, who in turn informed the police, which led to Khadla's arrest the following day.

During the Tuesday court proceedings, Khadla denied threatening his children or physically hurting them, prosecutor Alex Krikler told the publication.

"When asked how he would discipline his children, he said when they were younger, he would smack them on the bottom, but otherwise he said that he had never beaten or physically chastised them," Kirkler further added.

Khadla was charged with three counts of child cruelty and two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. His trial continues.

Khadla’s wife, Sarah, didn’t stop him from abusing the children and tried defending him by saying he had a "quick temper," news.com.au reported.

According to the publication, Khadla, the dictatorial father that he is, also decided for his adult daughter as to what she could wear, whom she could see, and what she could watch on TV.

Khadla coaxed Amira into signing the contract in 2012.

"I, Amira Khadla, will never let myself get fat. I will do lots of exercises to make sure I never get fat, even until I die," the contract document read, according to the outlet.
