Piers Morgan has built a massive fortune and collected several properties after becoming a familiar face on British television. Here's how much he's worth as of 2021.

The "Good Morning Britain" host and his family own two homes in the U.K. — a property in West London and a holiday home in the East Sussex village of Newick. However, their California home is the most lavish of all of their properties.

Morgan's $5.8 million Hollywood home comes with five bedrooms, five bathrooms, an indoor bar, an outdoor swimming pool and a big walk-in wardrobe, according to Hello magazine.

Morgan first shared a photo of the estate in February 2020 through Instagram. The image showed the two-story property, which features an open-air terrace on the second floor and an outdoor patio on the ground floor.

Other parts of the home were also revealed in another snapshot Morgan had shared. This time, the image showed him and his daughter posing by the estate’s swimming pool, which features Spanish-inspired patterned tiles. A jacuzzi also lies at one end of the pool, separated from the main pool via a wall formed of black patterned tiles.

Celebrity Net Worth estimated Morgan’s current net worth to be around $20 million. His income mostly came from his work as a journalist for various British newspapers and his work in multiple TV shows.

Morgan first got the public’s attention as a columnist at U.K.'s The Sun, according to Celebrity Net Worth. He wrote a tabloid-style column due to his connections in the entertainment industry.

In 1994, he was appointed by Rupert Murdoch as editor of the national newspaper News of the World. His stint at the newspaper established his reputation of publishing stories that invade the privacy of celebrities and his prying style of reporting.

He left his job at News of the World in 1995, but it did not stop his style of journalism. He continued to do the same at the Daily Mirror until 2004, when he was fired for publishing a misleading story on British soldiers in Iraq, The Guardian reported.

Morgan is not just a prominent tabloid personality. He also starred in television programs before landing his hosting stint at “Good Morning Britain.” He appeared as a judge on “America’s Got Talent” from 2006 to 2011 and “Britain’s Got Talent” from 2007 to 2010, per Celebrity Net Worth.

CNN gave him his primetime show “Piers Morgan Live” in 2010 after the resignation of longtime CNN figure Larry King. The show lasted until 2014, and he was quickly picked up by “Good Morning Britain” according to The Guardian.
