The Pokemon Presents event that will stream on the official Pokemon YouTube channel will feature a deep dive into the “Isle of Armor” DLC as well as new information on the coming “The Crown Tundra” expansion.

“Isle of Armor” is, of course, the expansion for “Pokemon Sword” and “Pokemon Shield.” “The Crown Tundra” is an expansion pack scheduled for later in the year. Previously known as Pokemon Direct, this presentation has since been rebranded as PoKemon Presents.

“We have Pokemon news,” the official Pokemon Twitter account announced on June 16, reports Digital Trends. “You want Pokemon news.”

There’s already a countdown on the YouTube channel for the stream which will begin at 6 a.m. PT/9 a.m. ET. The Japanese Pokemon Twitter account also estimates the stream will last approximately 11 minutes.

“We will deliver Pokémon Presents as a premiere on the official YouTube channel of Pokemon from Wednesday, June 17! Information on Pokemon Sword Shield Expansion Pass will be broadcast for about 11 minutes, so please look forward to it!” the translated tweet said.

As part of the expansion pass, Digital Trends reports that “Isle of Armor” is available for $30 and will give players subsequent access to “The Crown Tundra,” which will be released in the fall. As an expansion pack for “Pokemon Sword” and “Pokemon Shield,” “Isle of Armor” will grant players access to new Pokemon that they can’t find anywhere else.

It also features a new area of the Galar region in the game. New environments like beaches and sand dune will also be accessible on top of a new dojo with a trainer named Mustard.

Set to be introduced is the Cram-o-Matic feature where four different teams are recycled into new ones such as Poke Balls and PP Ups. These newly crafted items can then be brought by players in their journey toward the Galar region.

As with any new expansion pack, new Pokemon are set to appear and this will be no different. Expect new Pokemon to have slightly familiar looks if the names Gigantamax Blastoise, Galarian Slowbro, and Gigantamax Venusaur are any indication.

“Pokemon Sword” and “Pokemon Shield” are developed by Game Freak and published by The Pokemon Company and Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch.
