In one of the worst train crashes in Poland in more than 20 years, two passenger trains moving at high speeds on the same track in opposite directions collided head-on near the town of Szczechociny Saturday (March 3), killing 15 people and injuring 54.
This was not the first rail accident in 2012. The year so far witnessed a number of rail accidents which claimed dozens of lives and injured hundreds of people.
