Porn Star Rachel Starr On Former Adult Performer Mia Khalifa: ‘Speak Your Truth’

Former porn star Mia Khalifa has recently been making headlines for her statements about her time in the adult film industry. And Rachel Starr, another actress in the biz, has expressed her support to her former colleague, who has had harrowing experiences as an adult performer.

“[I]t breaks my heart you’ve had horrific experiences in the adult industry. I encourage you to speak your truth!! We all have different experiences & it’s important to review the whole context of possibilities, good & bad. Sending you healing & support darling,” Starr told Khalifa on Twitter.

Khalifa, who was in the adult film industry for only three months, retweeted the post and returned the kind words. She praised Starr for being “brave and empowering” because she continues to do what she loves to do.

“I went down a path that wasn’t for me. Finding success in it like you have isn’t the usual outcome,” Khalifa told the porn star.

Starr’s statement comes after Khalifa opened up about her terrifying experience in the adult film industry during the three-month stint wherein she was able to make 11 videos. Despite racking up tons of views and being one of the most-watched porn stars on Pornhub, the 27-year-old said she regretted her previous decision to join the mature entertainment industry, where she allegedly only took home $12,000.

Starr’s reassuring words also came on the heels of a feud between Khalifa and another porn star, Abella Danger, who defended the adult film industry. The latter actress revealed that the people she has worked for are “some of the most honest, kind, generous human beings I’ve ever met.”

Danger also told Khalifa to “stop trashing us for pity and clout,” adding that she is in the porn industry because she enjoys it rather than the money.

The beef started when Danger said that it was Khalifa’s fault that she earned only a mere $12,000 during her stint in the adult film industry. Fans of the former porn star came after her, and she eventually apologized for what she said.

However, she added that “it’s annoying to constantly hear anyone trashing my industry. When literally every single industry has its good & bad.”
