Porn star Riley Reid is joining other adult film actresses, influencers and celebrities who are using their platform to encourage voting.
On Saturday, Reid took to Instagram to share new photos of herself posing in a dining room in a white crop top and blue underwear. In the caption, she asked her 3.6 million followers to cast their ballots in the presidential election.
"I’m sitting here thinking about all the sexy people who voted. There is nothing hotter than a responsible adult who does their research & votes for change in the government. Mmm really just gets me going. Make sure to vote if you really wanna turn me on," the 29-year-old adult film star captioned her four photos.
Reid, whose real name is Ashley Mathews, also revealed in posts on her Instagram Stories which presidential candidate has her vote.
Responding to a comment saying "Vote for Trump," she wrote, "No. don't listen to this guy. He's a bot, not a real human profile. Just ignore him and vote for Biden."
When another fan commented, "I will vote for Biden if you reply [to] this comment," Reid replied, "VOTE FOR BIDEN IF YOU LOVE MY PORN."
Earlier this week, Reid announced that she plans to start a support group for single women working in the sex industry. She said she wanted to give her fellow adult film stars a place where they can open up about their struggles and be with people who will accept them.
"I think it's really important to support one another & the amount of women who reach out to me BC of my vulnerable posts about dating as a sex worker has just opened my eyes to how many other women feel the same," she wrote on Instagram.
"I’ve struggled with family, dating & identity issues being a sex worker and if you struggle and want people to hear you and help you DM me. Let's make this real," she added.
Prior to this announcement, Reid said in a post on Instagram last week that her new goal in life was to become a better person. She revealed that she hopes to start working toward improving herself by using her platform to bring "positive change in sex work for both women and men."
