Porsha Williams Fired From 'RHOA?' 'No More Peach For Me,' Cast Member Says
Porsha Williams may no longer be a cast member on “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” On Wednesday, the controversial star posted a photo of her face on Instagram with an “X” on it, along with the caption, “No more peach for me, but I still love checking in on my girls #Blessed #SomethingMajor #JustHereToSlay #TeamPorsha [sic].” Peaches have been an iconic part of the Bravo reality show, with each cast member holding the fruit during the show’s introduction. The new season airs in November.
This summer, it was hinted that Williams may get fired as a result of her role in an altercation with another cast member. During the season 6 finale, Williams attacked cast mate Kenya Moore at the taping of the show's reunion show, and allegedly producers were prepared to give her the ax.
Fellow cast member NeNe Leakes addressed the rumor during an interview with Essence magazine in April. “I don't think that Porsha deserves to get fired based on the fight with Kenya. I do think she was on the chopping block before she got into the fight. Fighting Kenya did not help her case.”
Moore reportedly taunted Williams during the reunion show taping, and the pair feuded throughout the season.
“Kenya brought sex toys to the reunion taping to taunt Porsha about Kordell’s sexuality, and she couldn’t take it anymore,” a source told Radar Online. “Porsha beat the s--- out of her! She is a little thing and she jumped on her and pulled her down to the ground by her hair -- and Kenya doesn’t have a weave, it is all her own hair."
TMZ released a recording of a 911 call in which Moore spoke with a dispatcher and asked for the police. When asked why, Moore said, “I’ve just been assaulted,” and that Williams was the perpetrator. "She hit me in my head and was fighting me, hitting me."
