On Mother’s Day, pregnant Kim Kardashian took to her Celebuzz blog to honor her mother Kris Jenner and open up about her nerves about being a first-time mom. The 32-year-old reality-television star, who is seven months’ pregnant, also added a sweet message for her grandmother and older sister Kourtney Kardashian Sunday.

“Mother’s Day is one of my favorite holidays because it's a special day to honor my role model and best friend,” Kardashian said. “As I’m counting the days until I finally get to be a mother, I’m a bit nervous and anxious but also excited knowing that I learned from the very best.”

She also wrote: “My mom is a strong and ambitious career woman that despite her busy schedule and the millions of things she has going on, she still manages to put family first and continues to look out for us every day. I’m honored to follow in her footsteps and make her proud like I am of her.”

She added: “And also my wonderful grandma MJ, such a strong and inspirational woman in my life! I love you so much!”

One of the people in Kim Kardashian’s life who has been showering the fashionista with guidance during her pregnancy is business partner and sister Kourtney Kardashian.

“My sister, best friend, and mentor has also taught me so much about motherhood from being the most incredible mom to Mason and Penelope,” the reality-TV star wrote. “She is super woman ... and I am so lucky to have her as my guide and confidant as I too become a mother.”

Kardashian is expecting her first child with hip-hop mogul Kanye West in July. West announced his girlfriend’s pregnancy during a concert. More recently, the 34-year-old rapper hit his head on a street sign while he was keeping his head down amid photographers last week.
