President Barack Obama will make a speech Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Speaking off the heels of his State of the Union Address, Obama will speak to students and faculty about retraining workers in this harsh economic climate and discuss ways to make higher education more affordable throughout the 50 states.

This is the president's third trip to the southeastern section of Michigan since Labor Day.

Air Force One landed on the rainy runway around 8:15 p.m. ET Thursday night. The president waved to the crowd of journalists, but quickly left the airport, reported the Detroit Free Press.

The University of Michigan will be hosting a live broadcast of the event at the university's Detroit Center located at 3663 Woodward Ave.

However, for those individuals not in the Detroit area and who can't attend the speech, there will be a live stream of the event.
