'Pretty Little Liars' Actress Ashley Benson Shares Thoughts On Dating Actors
Dating an actor, especially one with a high profile, may not be something that Ashley Benson would be able to do. The 25-year-old actress says she finds that maintaining relationships in Hollywood is difficult.
In an article to be published in Fashion magazine next week, she reveals her thoughts about her love life, saying, “I don’t think I would be able to date a high-profile actor the way Angelina Jolie has. Her and Brad have done a good job at keeping private, but I’m sure that takes work. It’s too much attention when two powerful people are together.”
Benson even shared that she found rumors of her dating all her male co-stars in "Pretty Little Liars" to be strange because none of the reports was true.
Benson plays the role of the sweet, sly and style-obsessed Hanna Marin in the popular TV show. But she shares that her next three films will likely change how audiences think about her. The actress is doesn’t shy away from taking on challenging roles, and seems bent on conquering what she calls the “type-cast curse,” as evidenced by her taking on a risqué role for the 2012 indie film "Spring Breakers."
It may seem that fame makes Benson uncomfortable, because she describes red carpet events as nerve-wracking, E! Online reports.
She’s currently inspired by Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, saying “I think she’s the coolest person in the business. She’s breaking the mold of what Hollywood stars are supposed to act like. I look up to her so much. Actors should stop acting when the cameras are off.”
Benson graces the cover of Fashion Magazine’s summer issue this month. In the cover spread photographed by Gabor Jurina, Benson wears a white Tom Ford dress featuring a plunging neckline and sexy cutouts with a mesh overlay, Huffington Post reports. This year’s Fashion Magazine summer issue will be available Monday.
