Is ‘Pretty Little Liars’ New Tonight? Why Freeform Isn’t Airing Season 7, Episode 15

Although fans are anxiously awaiting the reveal of A.D. on “Pretty Little Liars” Season 7, they will have to be patient for another week because Freeform will not be airing a new episode of the hit series until May 23.

“Pretty Little Liars” Season 7 typically airs on the network on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. EDT, however, this week the movie “The Proposal” will be airing during that time instead.

“The Proposal” stars Sandra Bullock as a book editor facing deportation for violating her work visa. Desperate to stay in the country, she tells her employers that she is engaged to her assistant, played by Ryan Reynolds. The actor’s character dreams of one day becoming an editor and Bullock’s character promises him a successful career should he agree to marry her.

The two then fly to his hometown to meet his family and announce their engagement and while there, they get to know each other on a personal level and things begin to unravel.

While “The Proposal” was a box office success raking in more than $300 million, it is unclear why it will be airing during a time where “Pretty Little Liars” should be on.

Although a new “Pretty Little Liars” episode will not be airing on Tuesday, Marlene King, who is the showrunner of the series, will have a new episode of her other show “Famous in Love” airing on the network Tuesday at 10 p.m. EDT.

“Famous in Love” stars Disney alum Bella Thorne as a young woman named Paige Townsen who gets her big break in Hollywood. Although excited about her new gig, Paige must juggle her career, school work, fame and her professional and work relationships.

Over on “Pretty Little Liars” Season 7, fans will have to wait for the premiere of episode 15, “In the Eye Abides the Heart,” for an update on character relationships. Last fans saw of Aria (Lucy Hale), she seemed to be well on her way to joining the “A” team and betraying all of her friends.

After seeing the consequences and instructions her friends were forced to go through while playing “A’s” game, Aria seemed terrified knowing that her turn was next. After being contacted by “A,” Aria revealed that she wanted out and “A” presented her with an opportunity.

Aria then met up with Sydney, where she was offered a position to be a part of the “winning team.” Following their rendezvous, it seemed like “A” was anxious to get Aria on the new team seeing as “A” picked Hanna (Ashley Benson) to go again rather than allowing Aria to take her first turn with the game.

In the promo for “In the Eye Abides the Heart,” Aria can be seen in Rosewood High School, opening a locker and pulling out the infamous black hoodie worn by all “A” team members.

Will Aria turn against her friends in order to save herself from “A’s” dangerous game or does the Liar have an ulterior motive for joining the “A” team?

“Pretty Little Liars” Season 7, episode 15, will air Tuesday, May 23, at 8 p.m. EDT on Freeform.
