‘Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists’: Where Is The Rest Of The Original ‘PLL’ Cast Now?

The next generation of Liars has arrived in the form of the series, “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists.” The new drama is a spin-off of the wildly popular show “Pretty Little Liars,” which ran for seven seasons on the same network.

The show followed five friends, Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson), Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell), Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale) and Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario), who were tortured and blackmailed by an anonymous villain known as “A.”

The group was able to unmask their tormentor in the series finale and finally give their characters a chance to live normal lives. However, since the show wrapped, the lives of the original “PLL” cast has been anything but ordinary.

Ashley Benson

After her role as Hanna on the Freeform series, Benson landed appeared in the film “Her Smell” and short, “Ask Me If I Care.” The actress is expected to return to the “PLL” universe, but not to reprise her role from the original series. This time around, Benson will be behind the camera and direct an episode.

Sasha Pieterse

After ending her run as Rosewood’s resident mean girl, Pieterse was tapped to reprise her role as Alison DiLaurentis in “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists.” The actress also appeared in the 2018 film, “The Honor List.”

Lucy Hale

Once the actress said goodbye to her role as Aria, Hale went on to star in several films including “Truth or Dare,” Dude and “The Unicorn.” After her CW series “Life Sentence” was canceled, the 29-year-old was later announced as the lead of the network’s upcoming series “Katy Keane.”

Shay Mitchell

When her time portraying Emily was over, Mitchell went on to work on several projects and continues to post videos about her life on her popular YouTube channel. Since the end of “PLL,” the 31-year-old has starred in the series “You” and the film “The Possession of Hannah Grace.”

Troian Bellisario

Bellisario’s work in the “Pretty Little Liars” series finale left viewers speechless when Spencer’s evil twin, Alex, was unmasked as “A.” Since shocking “PLL” fans, the actress has landed several film roles and is expected to direct an episode of “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists.” Along with being an actress and director, Bellisario is now a mom after she and her husband, Patrick J. Adams welcomed a baby girl in 2018.

Janel Parrish

Her role as Mona Vanderwaal made her the ultimate villain on “PLL” and Parrish was tapped to reprise the shady character in the “PLL” spin-off, “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists.” Aside from her “PLL” gigs, the actress has appeared in several Broadway productions and films.
