‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 4 Spoilers: Season Finale Synopsis Leaks Online; What Will Happen In Episode 24, ‘A Is For Answers’?
“Pretty Little Liars” are currently confused, angry and desperate for answers. Only a few weeks remain until the season 4 finale on Tuesday, Mar. 18, and the ABC Family series is promising that “A is for Answers” in episode 24.
Thanks to a leaked synopsis for the upcoming episode, fans of the series can rest easy knowing that they’ll finally stop getting jerked around and learn about what happened to Alison and who the mysterious “A” is.
“After years of questions and mystery surrounding the night Alison DiLaurentis disappeared, her four best friends come face to face with Ali and finally learn what really happened to her that September night,” teases the episode 24 synopsis. “Now with their newfound knowledge of Ali’s long-held secrets, can Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer help Alison finally figure out who ‘A’ is?”
Since the show needs to end with a serious cliffhanger, who doubt that the girls will be able to figure out who “A” is. On top of that, Ezra’s Ian Harding dished to Buzzfeed that despite the fallout of his character, he will definitely be returning for season 5.
“Ezra knows so much and that information can help the girls,” Harding explained. “I think he holds the key to bringing this journey to a close. In what capacity he’s going to help the girls next season is up for grabs, because some things happen at the end of this season that throw that possibility into question. But I’m personally excited to see if he becomes part of the investigation team.”
As “Pretty Little Liars” fans already know, Ezra unmasked his identity to Aria in episode 20. But he didn’t admit to being “A” – instead he revealed that he’s been working on a true crime book about Alison’s disappearance/ murder.
In episode 21 Ezra turned the tables on Aria, telling his former beau that he thinks that one of her friends is the mysterious culprit. And Spencer’s actions (and past behavior) is definitely a suspect. “She’s Come Undone” found Spencer discovering that she blacked out some important memories from the night of Alison’s disappearance – like the fact that she was wielding a shovel. But it was actually Emily’s girlfriend Paige that had fans freaking out. After Emily revealed to her that Alison is alive and in hiding, Paige went behind Emily’s back and left an anonymous note to the police that Alison faked her death.
So, what’s in store for the next two episodes before the season 4 finale of “Pretty Little Liars”?
On Tuesday, Mar. 4, Emily will join the sleuth club in episode 22 as she searches for answers about Ezra and Mona. But Emily won’t be sneaking around for long. The teen decides to confront the two and learns of the “heartbreaking situation.” Hanna will be searching for her own answers but will get stopped in her tracks when Det. Holbrook and Lt. Tanner confront her about a “possible new lead in Alison’s case.” Meanwhile Spencer and Aria will be attempting to recover and will turn to new men to help the process.
Episode 23 will air on Tuesday, Mar. 11 and find the girls in an interesting new situation – modeling wedding gowns! All the girls are currently miserable – Aria because of Ezra’s betrayal, Spencer because of her lost summer, Emily because of Paige’s betrayal, and Hanna because of her lack of luck in the dating world. And while they focus on healing, they’ll also be hot on the trail of Mrs. DiLaurentis. Suspicious that Alison’s mom knows more about her disappearance, the four girls decide to get closer to her by volunteering to help out at her charity bridal fashion show. But the girls in gowns aren’t the only thing that fans can look forward to – Ella and Jason will be returning to town and they both have something to hide.
