Is it June 10 yet? The excitement is building as the Season 5 premiere date of “Pretty Little Liars” inches closer. And ABC Family must be equally pumped because the network released some jaw-dropping photos from the first episode, “EscApe From New York.”

As we previously reported, Season 5 of the hit ABC Family series will pick up moments after the Season 4 finale left off -- with the Liars on the New York City rooftop with a wounded Ezra. Despite the Rosewood police failing to find them, the girls will manage to get Ezra to a hospital to treat the gunshot. But things are looking grim for the English teacher. Why? Because he’s the only one who knows the identity of “A.” And if the bullet doesn’t kill him, then “A” will do his/her best to make sure that he stays quiet … permanently.

Aria will keep watch over her on-and-off again boyfriend in order to protect him while her friends try to figure out a way to “finally flush out ‘A.’” And their plan will end up working well -- because the gang will end up shocked at who they “ensnare.”

“Pretty Little Liars” fans can look forward to seeing Officer Holbrook in the Season 5 Premiere as well. The Rosewood police officer will be continuing his search for the Liars and putting the Hastings family “on alert.” Meanwhile, news will spread of Alison’s resurrection … and Mona will not be pleased with what she hears.

Unfortunately, new photos released from the premiere don’t feature Officer Holbrook or Mona; however, fans will be surprised to see another familiar face: Shana. Emily’s old rival and Alison’s buddy will somehow end up in Ezra’s hospital room. But viewers will have to wait to find out what her intentions are with the wounded teacher.

But the big “OMG” feeling from the premiere photos is not because of Shana. It’s because they seem to hint at a potential flashback to Ezra … and Alison! Fans got to learn a little bit about their secret relationship in the Season 4 finale, but it looks like it’ll be explored more in Season 5.
