‘Pretty Little Liars’ Star Sasha Pieterse Teases Emison’s Future, ‘A’s’ New Game In Final Season
The return of “Pretty Little Liars” Season 7 is only weeks away, but that doesn’t mean cast members aren’t going to spill spoilers about what fans can expect when the Freeform series rolls out its final 10 episodes.
In a new interview with Hollywood Life, actress Sasha Pieterse, who plays Alison DiLaurentis, teased some spoilers about her character’s relationship with Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell) and “A’s” new game.
Pieterse revealed that although Alison is pregnant with Elliot Rollins’ (Huw Collins) baby, her feelings for Emily will definitely be explored in the final season of the Freeform series.

“Alison’s life has always been really complicated. And then there’s Emison. I think the fans are really going to enjoy where Marlene [King] has taken Emison,” the actress explained.
However, Pieterse acknowledged that Emily will find herself in a love triangle with Alison and Paige (Lindsey Shaw). “Darn, Paige, always in the way! It’s interesting. Emily goes through a lot of conflicting feelings, but I think she chooses the right one,” the actress said.
Despite what may happen with Emily and her other love interests, Pieterse insisted that Emison fans will be happy with how the relationship plays out.
“I think they [the fans] are going to be really excited. I think they’re going to be happy. There’s always been a lot of questions about it. There’s always been an up and down about Emison. I think the fans are going to be content,” the actress teased.
Although love will definitely be in the air when “Pretty Little Liars” Season 7 returns, we can’t forget that “A” is still out and about causing trouble for the characters of the show. Although the infamous villain will be back to wreck lives for the final season, Pieterse insisted that this time around “A” will be more hands off.
“There’s a thing that happens that A.D.’s hands don’t necessarily have to be situated with the girls every day and all the time. They’re not really being harassed the way they usually are. This is a new game,” Pieterse said.
Prior to this new game, the liars couldn’t sneeze without “A” threatening to expose something. Will the characters on the show be able to play by the rules of the new game or will they suffer deadly consequences?
“Pretty Little Liars” Season 7 returns on April 18 at 8 p.m. EDT on Freeform.
