One-time Olympic swimmer Charlene Wittstock is now the Princess of Monaco, having married Prince Albert III in a civil ceremony today.
Wittstock wore a Chanel suit to the wedding, which took place at the Royal Palace, and is expected to wear an Armani dress at Saturday's religious ceremony and reception.
The days leading up to the wedding were filled with rumors that all was not well with the couple, with the bride-to-be trying to flee Monaco after learning that Prince Albert had sired a third illegitimate child. The couple maintained a unified front in the face of speculation, and the wedding appears to have gone off without a hitch.
