Prince Andrew Thought It’s ‘Funny’ To Compare Sarah Ferguson To A Horse
Prince Andrew previously thought that it was funny how Sarah Ferguson compared herself to a horse.
During a previous interview on the Canadian television show “The Dini Petty Show,” the Duchess of York revealed that she didn’t expect what being part of the royal family would actually be like when she married Prince Andrew. She likened the experience to a horse.
“When you get a horse in from the field, and then you dress it up with its bridle and its saddle and you do the girth up really tight, bandages on, tail bands on, and you put it all in the horse box – that’s what it’s like,” she said.
Ferguson revealed that when she told Prince Andrew about her horse comparison, the prince said that he hoped she didn’t use the horse because it was very funny. But what the mom of two meant was joining The Firm got her all tethered up, and she just wanted to go out and be free.
Prince Andrew and Ferguson’s marriage ended up in divorce 10 years after they tied the knot. But even after their split, Ferguson has nothing but good things to say about her ex-husband.
During a recent interview on “Good Morning Britain,” Ferguson called Prince Andrew a great father to their two daughters, Princess Beatrice, and Princess Eugenie.
“The way we have always managed to be very, very solidified as a team together. Of course, with the Duke of York, who is a great father is a family unit and talking about an issue,” she said.
During the interview, Ferguson also shared her parenting style and said that she raised Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie as two women who can speak their minds and talk about their feelings. The Duchess of York is extremely proud of what her daughters have accomplished and said that she’s happy that they are both become career women.
