- The Duke of York celebrated his 60th birthday with a party in Windsor
- Prince Andrew was bewildered amid claims that he refused to cooperate in the investigation
Prince Andrew has reportedly not cooperated with the FBI’s request to share details regarding his relationship with the late Jeffrey Epstein.
Earlier this week, photos of a school bus with a cryptic Duke of York sign has been photographed roaming outside Buckingham Palace. The sign features two photos of Prince Andrew alongside a strict order.
“If you see this man please ask him to call the FBI to answer their questions,” the caption read.
Earlier this month, Southern District of New York Geoffrey Berman urged Prince Andrew to come clean regarding his relationship with Epstein.
“It’s fair for people to know whether Prince Andrew has followed through with that public commitment,” he said.
But according to sources close to the Duke of York, the dad of two is angry and bewildered over the claims that he has failed to cooperate because he had never been approached.
The sources told The Guardian that Fergie’s ex-husband is more than willing to talk and cooperate in the investigations if only he’s asked to participate.
Prince Andrew also made headlines this week after he was photographed driving himself to his birthday party in Windsor. According to Daily Mail, the Duke of York invited his high-profile friends to his bash. However, Prince Charles, Princess Anne, and Prince Edward did not attend his party.
The Duke of York’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson was also present at his birthday celebration. As of late, it is still unclear whether or not Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were also there.
“The extra effort worked a treat. ‘Neither of Andrew’s brothers was there, nor was [Princess] Anne, but it was a wonderful party,’ I’m told. ‘A really good range of people. The lucky guests are reluctant to chat too freely about such an intimate occasion. However, I gather that the evening concluded with ‘a few games after dinner’ of the high-spirited sort that the Royal Family has favored for generations,” royal expert Sebastian Shakespeare wrote.
