Prince Anne Accused Of Being Rude After Photographer Lied About One Statement

Princess Anne previously became a victim of fake reporting, but the truth is now finally being revealed.

In the Channel 4 documentary “The Real Princess Anne,” royal photographer Steve Wood said that he was once at the receiving end of Princess Anne’s wrath. Decades ago, Princess Royal became upset with photographers taking her pictures during unflattering moments.

“It’s the naff off picture when she lost it and told me to naff off, and that created a storm,” Wood said. But fellow photographer Ashley Walton said that Wood’s statement wasn’t truthful. “The truth is, we made up the ‘naff’ word to cover up another word,” she said.

But Wood also said that Princess Anne was actually much ruder than how he described her to be. During their conversations, she heard Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip’s only daughter cursing again and again.

And several years ago, the Queen’s former press secretary Robin Ludlow, echoed Wood’s statement. He said that there have been multiple times wherein Princess Anne lost her temper with the press.

“She was perfectly prepared to talk to the press about the sporting side of her activity. But what she wasn’t prepared to do was – just as she was about to enter her own arena or start a cross country course - to be asked whether she was going to get engaged to somebody… And this, of course, made her very cross because she wasn’t there to talk about her private life and that’s when she started telling everybody to naff off,” he said.

Meanwhile, in the same documentary, Princess Anne was also accused of being sulky and difficult to deal with. And since she was the first child of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh to ever get divorced, it seemed as though that she’s the one who was most unlikely to succeed.

But at present, it seems that the tables have turned. Princess Anne remains to be untainted, and she has also been named as the hardest-working member of the royal family.
