Prince Charles, Camilla’s Caribbean Trip Mapped; Couple ‘Horrified’ Over New Zealand Attack

Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles’ trip to the Caribbean will soon kick off.

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall are set to visit the Commonwealth nations in the Caribbean for their next royal tour which is scheduled for this month. According to Liam Doyle, a journalist for Express, Prince Charles and Camilla’s upcoming tour has been finalized.

Prince Charles and Camilla will be traveling on March 17. They will spend two days in the region and travel around the different countries and islands before returning on March 29. The couple’s upcoming royal tour includes six different Commonwealth nations and about 50 different engagements.

Here are some of the countries that Prince Charles and Camilla will visit:

1. St. Lucia (March 17)

2. Barbados (March 19)

3. St Vincent and The Grenadines (March 20)

4. St. Kitts and Nevis (March 21)

5. Grenada (March 23)

The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall will also visit 10 different islands, including the overseas territory of the Cayman Islands. After that, Prince Charles and Camilla will make history by being the first royals to visit Cuba. Their visit to the country has been confirmed by Supreme Court President Lady Brenda Hale.

“They are going to visit the Caribbean,” Lady Brenda said. “They are not only going to the Anglo Caribbean, they are going to Cuba as well.”

Camilla said that she was very excited about the tour. The Duchess of Cornwall admitted that she’s looking forward to experience Cuba’s music and architecture but wasn’t sure about the food. Prince Charles has already visited 45 of the 53 Commonwealth nations, while Camilla has only been to 21 of them.

In related news, Prince Charles recently released a statement about the New Zealand attack. The royals expressed their sympathy for the families involved. They said that the horrific attack was “beyond all disbelief” and condemned the act by calling it “barbaric.”

“Both my wife and I were utterly horrified to hear of the most barbaric attacks on two mosques in Christchurch, which resulted in the cruel and tragic loss of so many people’s lives,” their statement read.

The prince added that the “appalling atrocity” was an assault on all of those who cherish religious freedom, tolerance, compassion and community. Prince Charles is confident that New Zealand will not allow hate to triumph and also left a warm message for everyone involved.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims’ families, the first responders, the people of Christchurch and all New Zealanders at this most heartbreaking of times,” Prince Charles and Camilla wrote.
