Prince Charles Declares Love For Prince George By Saying This Before Birthday
Prince Charles just declared his love for his eldest grandson, Prince George, weeks before his 70th birthday.
In the BBC documentary to mark his special day, Prince Charles’ wife, Camilla Parker Bowles, said that the future king has always been passionate about improving the world around him.
A footage of Queen Elizabeth II’s eldest son showed Prince Charles talking about George’s wood, which was inspired by Prince George. The future king planted dozens of different trees when Prince William and Kate Middleton’s son was born in 2013.
“As I got older, all I really long for is to plant trees. I hope it will be quite amusing for George, as they grow up, as he grows up,” he said (via Daily Mail).
Bowles joked that Prince Charles had been worried that the trees he planted wouldn’t get enough water to survive. “He does rain dances most of the day, to try and get some more.”
In related news, Prince William and Prince Harry were also featured in the BBC documentary. Prince Harry said that he admires his dad for his persistence with issues that are close to his heart like the environment, plastic waste, and climate change.
“The man never stops. Whether it’s dinner or tea or whatever and we sit there and speak to him, he gets so frustrated. You can understand why, when he cares that much and he’s been banging the drum for this long,” the Duke of Sussex said.
Prince William, on the other hand, cited his dad’s devotion to the Prince’s Trust charity, which has helped more than 900,000 people to date.
“One of the things I’m most proud of my father for is the Prince’s Trust. I think what he set up there for young people has been absolutely incredible, and as I go around the country, the number of people who tell me about the Prince’s Trust – I mean, honestly, it’s phenomenal, it really is,” he said.
