Prince Charles Framed A ‘Sweet’ Photo With Meghan Markle In Clarence House
Prince Charles just proved how much he loves and adores Meghan Markle.
Daily Mail’s royal reporter Rebecca English revealed that she spotted a sweet photo of the two royals displayed inside the future King’s home.
“At Clarence House today, I spotted a framed black and white photograph (in the public area) of the Prince of Wales walking his soon to be daughter-in-law, Meghan Markle, towards the altar at St. George’s Chapel. It was very touching – and shows how much the moment meant to him,” she tweeted.
English did not upload the photo with her tweet, but royal fans are aware of the touching moment shared by Prince Charles and Markle during the latter’s wedding to Prince Harry.
On May 19, royal fans were surprised to see Prince Charles walking down the aisle with Meghan Markle. The dad of two assumed the role of Thomas Markle Sr., who was unable to attend the royal wedding due to his heart condition.
After Prince Charles walked Markle down the aisle, all eyes were also on him when he welcomed the Duchess’ mom into the royal family. Upon leaving the chapel, Prince Charles assisted Doria Ragland, and they stood beside each other until the newlyweds left the venue.
Months after their wedding, Prince Harry shared his thoughts about his dad walking his wife down the aisle. In the documentary “Prince, Son, and Heir: Charles at 70,” the Duke of Sussex detailed what happened before his wedding day.
“I asked him to and I think he knew it was coming and he immediately said, ‘Yes, of course, I’ll do whatever Meghan needs and I’m here to support you.’ For him, that’s a fantastic opportunity to step up and be that support, and you know he’s our father so of course, he’s gonna be there for us,” he said (via People).
And after Prince Charles walked Markle down the aisle, Prince Harry was seen mouthing the words “Thank you, Pa” to his dad.
“You’ve gotta say thank you. Just because he’s my father that doesn’t mean I can just sort of go, ‘Okay, that’s all, I’ll take it from here,’” he said.
