Prince Charles’ Love For Princes William, Harry Questioned, Heir Cared For Sons

Prince Charles has always been close to his sons, Prince William and Prince Harry. And the three of them became even closer after Princess Diana died in 1997.

On the online forum site Quora, one royal fan asked if the heir to the throne really loves and cares about his boys. And the majority of the respondents were saddened by the question.

Abigail Macdonald, who worked at the National Health Service, said that the dad of two cares very deeply for his sons. Prince Charles loved and cared for them as a single dad when they were kids and he still loves them as much now that they are adults. Macdonald went on to say that the love for a child is visceral and not emotional.

Royal fan Connie Walker also said the same thing. She said that Prince Charles has been doing a great job as the father of Prince William and Prince Charles. The royal siblings are also very close to the only biological parent that they have.

“I have never read or heard it said that they don’t have a good relationship. There were, of course, problems during teen years but that is normal and just look at the fine men they are today. That did not happen in a vacuum. Obviously, they did not have an everyday upbringing- William is a future king and Harry is royalty too. I can’t imagine why you equate their different type of upbringing to Charles not caring,” she said.

Diana Donald, a former managing substance abuse staff at a rehab facility, said that there are thousands of photos of Prince Charles with Prince William and Prince Harry and it’s evident how close and happy they are to be around each other.

“He was very tactile towards them from the outset despite their mother ensuring she was photographed more often with them when things got rocky. But despite their problems, they shared responsibility throughout. There is no doubt in my mind that Prince Charles cares very much for his boys. You only had to see him walking Meghan down the aisle on her wedding day and the affection with which Harry said ‘thank you Pa’ to him,” she said.
