Prince Charles, Meghan Markle Developed Close Bond Over This ‘Dysfunctional’ Reason

Prince Charles and Meghan Markle share a close bond with each other, and the reason for their closeness may sound absurd.

Abbie Llewelyn, a journalist for Express, said that the two royals were able to relate to each other well because they both come from dysfunctional families. A source also said that the future king recognizes that the House of Windsor has suffered many traumas, crises, and divorces. But he has been impressed with how Markle has handled her personal issues.

“Because there’s been bad behavior that’s caused problems in his family, Charles understands how difficult it must be for Meghan. And it has endeared her to him even more,” the source said.

Prince Charles also made Markle and Prince Harry’s royal wedding extra special when he walked with the Duchess of Sussex down the aisle at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. Markle’s dad, Thomas Markle Sr., was supposed to walk his daughter down the aisle but was not able to do so at the last minute because of his heart surgery.

The source said that Markle and Prince Charles also share the same response with regards to their family squabbles.

“Whatever they felt inside they have both puts on a strong public face and not hidden away,” the source said.

In related news, Prince Charles is not the only royal that has bonded with Markle ever since she joined the royal family. Camilla Parker Bowles has also reached out to the Duchess of Sussex and has spent time with her and Prince Harry on multiple occasions.

Kara Godfrey, a journalist for Express, revealed that Bowles, Prince Charles, Prince Harry, and Markle vacationed together in Scotland in July.

“The visit happened the day after their visit to the polo. They stayed for five days and it was Prince Charles hosting them. During the days they took long hikes along the coast (which looks out over John O’ Groats). With all that’s been going on with Meghan’s family, they wanted to get them out of the city and to the coast of Scotland,” a source said.
