Prince Edward’s Son James, Viscount Severn Driving Vehicle At 11
Prince Edward’s son, James, Viscount Severn, was recently spotted driving a car despite his young age of 11.
The young boy drove his family’s Land Rover on the grounds of Windsor Castle while his mom, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, sat on the passenger’s seat. After their quick drive, the mother and son duo played fetch with their dogs.
According to People, the Windsor Castle grounds are private, and this could be the reason why James was able to drive a car in the area. Since he is just 11 years old, it is highly unlikely that he already has a driver’s license. Without one, James cannot drive on public roads.
Prince Edward and Sophie’s children spent their short Easter vacation in Windsor after attending the Easter church service at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on Sunday. James and Lady Louise Windsor were photographed with their parents, as well as the other members of the royal family during the gathering.
In related news, Sophie also made headlines this week after the real reason why her wedding tiara was so different from Sarah Ferguson’s headpiece was revealed.
Sophie’s piece of gifted jewelry was created especially for her that’s why it was very different from Ferguson and the other female royals that wore one before her. Even though Sophie’s tiara was relatively new, the jewels used on it were from Queen Elizabeth II’s private collection.
There are also some rumors suggesting that some of the jewels on the tiara came from Queen Victoria’s Regal Circlet. Sophie tied the knot with Prince Edward in 1999 after dating for six years. Prince Edward is the only child of the Queen and Prince Philip who still hasn’t gotten a divorce.
According to body language expert Judi James, the couple hasn’t divorced because of Sophie.
“Judging from her history and her body language, I would suggest this is largely down to Sophie,” she told Express.
