Prince George and Princess Charlotte's school was hit by coronavirus fears.

Dozens of schools in London were affected by the coronavirus scare. Archbishop Temple School in Preston, Lancs, Trinity Catholic College in Middlesbrough; Tudor Grange Academy Kingshurst, Birmingham; Lime Academy Watergall in Bretton, Peterborough were among those that closed down.

According to Express, Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s school, Thomas’s Battersea, was also affected. Some students who came from a skiing trip from Italy were suspected of being infected with the virus and four children have been quarantined after displaying symptoms associated with COVID-19. The school has not confirmed it, but it released a statement regarding the matter.

“Like all schools, we are taking very seriously the potential risks related to the spread of COVID-19 and to this end we are following the Government's instructions to the letter on infection prevention and case management in which it is suspected that some staff member or students exposed to the virus or showing any symptoms,” the spokesperson for Thomas’s Battersea said.

“We currently have a very small number of students who have been evaluated and these individuals currently, according to the Government Council, remain in their homes waiting to receive the results of their exams. All parents have been informed and we have maintained regular communication with our school community to ensure that councils are shared and important information circulated.”

The school also said that it will not comment on specific cases, adding that it will preserve the confidentiality between staff and students. Prince George and Princess Charlotte just recently enjoyed their half-term break. Prince William and Kate Middleton even took a break from their royal duties to bond with their children. But the royal couple has already resumed their royal duties.

On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stepped out together to visit London’s West End. They watched the production of “Dear Evan Hansen” at the Noël Coward Theatre and Middleton outshone her husband Prince William with her sparkling heels and clutch.

Middleton showed up in a stylish black dress by Eponine and styled her hair in her signature curls. On the other hand, Prince William looked dapper in his blue suit and tie.
