Prince George ‘Really Upset’ By This Habit of Prince William, Kate Middleton
They are often praised for their parenting techniques when it comes to their three children, but even Kate Middleton and Prince William can sometimes annoy Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
In a resurfaced interview with BBC Radio 1 from 2017 (via Express UK), the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge admitted that they would watch a lot of kids’ shows with their, at the time, two children, but if they didn’t express some interest, it would infuriate their son.
“Yes! There are a lot of children’s programmes,” Prince William said at the time. “My goodness, there are a lot of them out there. You know, some of them are really good but you have to pretend you are really into them. George would get really upset if you don’t show diligence into the characters.”
However, the parents only reportedly need to show that interest in more limited amounts, as they only allow their young kids to get one hour of screen time each day and are big advocates of the kids getting outside to play more often.
Of course, while that was a small example of a time where they revealed some details about their children and their private lives, the royal couple still insists on giving them as normal of lives as they can and try to enhance their privacy wherever they can.
Not only did they install a new set of bushes along the edges of their property at Kensington Palace to give themselves and their family a little more privacy from the public, but the couple also employs another tactic, particularly with George. Though the Prince is currently third-in-line for the throne to be king after his grandfather, Prince Charles and father, he does not yet know that, because his parents want to give him a chance to have some sense of normalcy first.
Of course, experts have warned that they may want to reveal the truth to him sooner rather than later since he is of school-age now and someone else could beat the parents to revealing the truth.
