Prince Harry has revealed that his late mom, Princess Diana, is his role model.

On Tuesday, Prince Harry flew to Chicago for the Inaugural Summit of the Obama Foundation. On the first night of the two-day event, Meghan Markle's boyfriend sat with Mellody Hobson, president of Ariel Investments, and talked about the youth's potential participation in the community, E! News reported. During their chat, Prince Harry talked about his late mom, whom he said had a lot of influence on him. This prompted Hobson to ask him why the British called his mother the "People's Princess."

"I think she had a lot in common with everybody but also she certainly listened in a very, very short space of time," Prince Harry said. "In society, we suffer from this illusion or this reality where some problems get so big that nobody wants to get involved. She was the one that changed that. I will always look up to her as being my ideal role model."

Prince Harry also encouraged everyone to listen to what the youth have to say. "We have to listen to the younger generation because they are the cure to some of the world's biggest problems—they are the cure of many communities as well," he added.

The "Suits" star's beau also joined Michelle Obama in a surprise visit to Hyde Park Academy. The two met approximately 20 high school students at Chicago's South Side.

"The warm and wide-ranging conversation, lasting over an hour, covered how the Obama Presidential Center will showcase the South Side of Chicago for a global audience, the importance of young people staying inspired and hopeful, and the transformative power of students using their voices to change the world" Caroline Adler Morales, the former first lady's communication director, said in a statement to ABC News.

Prince Harry and the Obamas are apparently closer than most people expect as the former first family had been among the early supporters of the royal's Invictus Games. In fact, Prince Harry was spotted hanging out with former U.S. president Barack Obama during the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto in September. The pair watched the wheelchair basketball game and happily conversed with each other.

The former POTUS even posted his Invictus Games visit on Twitter. "Proud to cheer on Team USA at the Invictus Games today with my friend Joe. You represent the best of our country," he wrote.
