Prince Harry has always felt that he’s got Princess Diana in him even when he was much younger.

During a previous interview centered on Lesotho, the Duke of Sussex was asked if he thought about Princess Diana while meeting with a group of children. Majority of the kids were sick and made orphans because of AIDS.

When the Princess of Wales was still alive, she was an advocate for AIDS and she also loved the youth. Prince Harry said that he thought of his mother, and meeting with kids with illness was something that he has always wanted to do.

“I’m only 19 but there is a lot of me that wants to say, ‘Okay, let’s keep my mother’s legacy going.’ But at the age of 19, it’s pretty hard work… I try to be as normal as I can, to try and have a normal life before it gets too hectic… She never came to Lesotho but she’s worked around the same areas and I believe I’ve got a lot of my mother in me,” he said.

Two years after the interview, Prince Harry co-founded Sentebale with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho. The charity is centered on improving the prospects for children affected by HIV/AIDs.

Meanwhile, royal author Duncan Larcombe praised Prince Harry for taking advantage of the media attention he had to shed light on the country’s almost-unknown problems just like the Princess of Wales.

In his book “Prince Harry: The Inside Story,” Larcombe wrote, “The media has shown no interest previously in reporting on a country most people had never ever heard of, but they would fill their pages and bulletins with the plight of the forgotten children of Lesotho if Prince Harry was there. Harry would have known how the royals use their status to draw attention to good causes.”

Last year, Prince Harry went on a secret trip to Lesotho right after his wedding to Meghan Markle.
