Prince Harry Had A Model Fling While Dating Meghan Markle, Expert Says

Prince Harry had a model fling during the early stage of his relationship with Meghan Markle.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are happily married. In May, the couple welcomed their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. However, during the early stage of their romance, Prince Harry reportedly had a fling.

According to Angela Levin in her book “Harry: Conversations with the Prince,” the duke met stunning model Ann Macklin, at a party. At the time, he was already going out with Markle, but he couldn’t stop himself from texting Macklin and they also went out a few times.

“During the very early stages of his relationship with Meghan, Harry was thought to have gone on dates with Burberry model Sarah Ann Macklin,” Levin wrote.

“They met at a private party, he took her number and bombarded her with texts. But it turned out to be just a fling.”

A source told the biographer that Prince Harry and Macklin were not perfect for each other because they are not well suited. They got on but are very different because she is very “clean living” and barely drinks and that put them at a different wavelength. In addition, Prince Harry was a bit “non-committal” back then.

Prince Harry and Markle dated for about six months before their relationship became public. When their romance leaked, Prince Harry happened to be in Toronto. The prince was surprised when his aides called him and warned him that he and Markle would be under siege. In response, another story was leaked suggesting that Prince Harry canceled a flight to Toronto, but the photographers still descended to Markle’s home.

Markle’s best friend Jessica Mulroney rescued the couple by letting them hide in her plush home. Jessica and her family were among the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding guests. Her daughter was also one of the bridesmaids.

In related news, Prince Harry and Markle joined the other members of the family on Saturday for Trooping the Colour. At the event, the duke didn’t look too happy and appeared to be suffering perhaps due to lack of sleep.

However, days after the said sighting, Prince Harry sported a dapper appearance when he attended a fundraising concert for his charity, Sentebale. Markle didn’t accompany him to the star-studded event.
