Prince Harry, Kate Middleton and Prince William look so happy together before Meghan Markle joined the royal family.

The Duke of Sussex was very close to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The three royals were often seen attending various royal engagements together that fans called them “the royal trio.”

A throwback photo of Prince Harry, Middleton and Prince William was shared on Instagram. In the snap, the three royals are holding a glass of wine while talking. The future king and queen consort are smiling while looking at Prince Harry.

“These three [heart]”, the caption read.

Royal fans who saw the photo flooded the post with warm comments. The majority agreed that they were happy together before he married Markle. One even called them “the three muskeeters.”

“Prince’s [sic] Harry and William and Duchess Catherine look so happy. I like Prince Harry with a beard better,” one netizen commented.

“Look how happy they are in this photo. All smiling and happy together,” a different user wrote.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are rumored to be feuding with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Earlier this year, the former left Kensington Palace and moved to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. Prince Harry and Markle also left the charity they used to share with Prince William and Middleton.

Some royal fans blamed Markle for the split. Many of them expected the royal trio to be fab four but instead, there was a division after Prince Harry married Markle.

“Of course Meghan came along trouble came along..like it was there from 2009...And split now...Tells a lot about the new addition and the negativity surrounding the Royal family,” a netizen wrote on Twitter.
