Prince Harry Made This Shocking Joke About Queen Elizabeth, Princes Philip, Charles
Prince Harry made a shocking joke about Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip and Prince Charles.
The Duke of Sussex is popular for his cheeky jokes and hilarious pranks and his royal grandmother, grandfather and dad weren’t immune from it. Royal author Katie Nicholl recalled one prank that Prince Harry did in her 2010 biography “ Harry and William.”
Nicholl noted that Prince Harry had always been more troublesome compared to his older brother Prince William. One Christmas, Meghan Markle’s husband was given a mobile phone to activate a standard voicemail greeting. The soon-to-be dad insisted on recording a personalized message which gave the Queen’s aide the “shock of his life..“
Harry’s message was this, “Hey, wassup? This is Liz!” the royal expert claimed.
“Sorry, I’m away from the throne. For a hotline to Philip, press one, for Charles press two, for the corgis, press three.”
In addition, there were “snorts of mirth” from Prince William who could be heard guffawing in the background as Prince Harry recorded the voice message.
Queen Elizabeth II was told of the message that her grandson made when her private secretary Robin Jarvin called up and “got the shock of his life.”
Prince Harry also made another hilarious surprise at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding in 2011. According to Camilla Parker Bowles, the Duke of Sussex brought a wiggly worm toy to keep the little bridesmaids and pageboys entertained so they would behave well.
On the same event, Prince Harry delivered a touching message for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. It was a touching and emotional one when he mentioned that Prince William and Middleton’s decade-long romance was his inspiration. The mother of three shed a tear after hearing it.
Although it was warm and affectionate, Prince Harry didn’t miss to keep it funny, too. He was supposed to mention Middleton’s “killer legs” in his best man speech. However, his then girlfriend Chelsy Davy, who helped him edit it, advised him to delete that line. Davy was thinking that it might embarrass the bride.
According to Evening Standard royal editor Robert Jobson, Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s two sons were dubbed “good and bad” princes and Prince Harry was the one labeled the “bad prince.”
