Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Already Engaged But Delayed Announcement, Friend Says

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may already be engaged.

Friends close to Prince Harry and the "Suits" star are convinced that the former has already popped the big question and that the latter has already said "yes." The couple is reportedly just waiting for Markle to finish filming her USA Network series to make the announcement.

"I think it's already happened but they're holding the news back until she has finished on 'Suits,'" one friend told Us Weekly. "I've never seen them happier. It's amazing."

Prince Harry and Markle have been dogged with engagement rumors for months now. Just recently, another source said that the pair is "as good as engaged" and has already discussed wedding plans.

"While Meghan may not be wearing a ring or a formal engagement announced, it's fair to say they're as good as engaged now," one source said. "They've spoken about their marriage plans openly with each other and friends and family around them are pretty much thinking about wedding attire already!"

Prince Harry and Markle have yet to address the engagement rumors, but it has been speculated that the proposal happened during their three-week trip to Africa last month. Multiple sources claimed that Prince Harry had been planning to pop the big question in Botswana, which he considers his second home. Markle's lack of engagement ring when they returned home from their trip was not a surprise, however, as the two reportedly wanted to keep their engagement private.

"Harry said he would want to enjoy the news between the two of them before word starts spreading out," an insider revealed. "This has really been the trip of a lifetime."

But though they have not yet confirmed their engagement, Markle and Prince Harry have been making more public appearances as a couple lately. When the duke was in Toronto for the Invictus Games last week, he brought along his girlfriend to the event. During the closing ceremony, the "Horrible Bosses" star brought her mom, Doria Radlan, with her to show support for her beau, and Prince Harry was later spotted giving his girlfriend a kiss.

Prince Harry also visited Markle at the Toronto set of "Suits" where she returned the favor by giving her boyfriend a tour of their shooting location. She reportedly introduced him to her co-stars and the crew.

Some "Suits" crew members are convinced that the actress will be leaving the show if she gets engaged to Prince William's brother. "No one gets the impression she's staying on the show much longer," an insider said. "They believe she's going to marry Harry."
