Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Called ‘Disaster’ For This Reason; Fans Defend Couple

A royal fan recently called Prince Harry and Meghan Markle a disaster for a number of reasons.

On the online forum site Quora, royal fan Frank Vijt said that he has been wondering why Queen Elizabeth II allowed her grandson to wed Markle. For the royal fan, Her Majesty’s heart won over her head in the same way that her role as a grandmother won over her role as the head of the monarchy.

“As for the public, I can see why most Americans can’t see why she isn’t the perfect choice. They have another idea of what royalty should be like… I call it ‘blinded by the glitter and glamour of Hollywood and one too many Disney movies,’” he wrote.

However, there are also royal fans who said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not seem like a disaster to them or to anyone. Harry Kriewaldt, a historian in training, said that he tends to ignore the idiocy of tabloids and encourage people to do the same.

James Smith, a retired adult protective services worker, echoed Kriewaldt’s statement and said that haters are always going to hate but there is no reason to hate Markle and Prince Harry because they have done nothing wrong.

Ever since they tied the knot, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been making headlines for all sorts of reasons. After their royal wedding, rumors swirled that the “Suits” alum gave the Queen a hard time when she voiced out some of her outrageous demands.

Markle is also believed to have requested for a tiara that she wanted to wear but the Queen refused it and gave her something else.

Months after her wedding, it was reported that Markle also made Kate Middleton cry during Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress fitting. The alleged feud between the two female royals has extended to their brother, Prince William and Prince Harry.

The royal siblings are believed to not have been on speaking terms for months now.
