Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could skip Princess Beatrice’s wedding next year.

According to Express, the Sussexes got on the Yorks’ bad side after they skipped Princess Eugenie’s evening reception in October of last year. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were also accused of committing a royal blunder when they announced Markle’s pregnancy days before Princess Eugenie’s wedding.

Royal expert Camilla Tominey told The Telegraph last year that Princess Eugenie was upset with Prince Harry and Markle’s snub. The royal couple attended the champagne reception, but they skipped the evening celebration.

Prince Harry reportedly dropped by at the party a few hours later, but he only stayed until after he finished his drink. Prince William and Kate Middleton, on the other hand, made a night of it.

“[It] also proved a little problematic for Meghan, who appeared to admonish her husband during the ceremony. William and Kate - not usually prone to public displays of affection - appeared much more at ease as they held hands throughout the service. The Sussexes were later criticized for sharing news of their pregnancy at the champagne reception afterward,” she said.

Meanwhile, Markle’s pregnancy was announced shortly after she and Prince Harry arrived in Australia for their royal tour. A source told Harper’s Bazaar that Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, were informed about Markle’s pregnancy beforehand.

However, Markle and Prince Harry still faced backlash for allegedly overshadowing Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank’s wedding, which took place just a few days later.

In related news, Markle, Princess Beatrice, and Princess Eugenie are once again being linked due to their possible pregnancies. Royal expert Angela Mollard predicted that Middleton will be the first to welcome another baby in 2020.

“Although you know what? Beatrice could go ‘stuff all this. I’m not doing the wedding. I’m just going to have the baby. Eduardo has already got a son as we know from a previous partner. She should just go and have the baby and worry about the wedding later perhaps,” she told Express.

There are also predictions that Princess Eugenie and Markle could either announce their pregnancies or welcome their babies next year.
