There has been an onslaught of rumors recently that they may be preparing to welcome their second child together as they get their fresh start away from royal life, but a new report claims that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are actually in no rush to expand their family.

A source told Us Weekly that the pair still intends to have another baby in the future, they are currently focused on getting settled with their new lives first, and they want to keep their focus on their first-born, Archie Harrison, in the meantime.

“They’ll be trying in earnest pretty soon,” a source told the publication. “They just want to get firmly settled into their new surroundings first and give Archie as much attention as they can. They’re still enjoying these precious early days with him. They’re committed to having another baby, but don’t want to put too much pressure on the situation.”

Many have wondered what the couple’s next move would be following not only their decision to step down from the royal family and renounce their HRH titles, which becomes effective March 31 but their recent move to Los Angeles as well. Reports surfaced earlier this week that the couple had left the home they had been staying in on Vancouver Island in Canada and were staying in a new residence in California, which they were not leaving due to the Coronavirus threat.

It’s believed the pair intends to stay located in the L.A. area because of the proximity it allows them to have near not only her mother, Doria Ragland but also their team of professionals that are helping them with their transition.

In addition, the move could allow them to be in the right place for any potential projects they want to work on, with Markle already having provided the narration for the upcoming Disney Nature documentary “Elephants.”
