Other contenders for baby girl names include Alexandra, which is Queen Elizabeth II’s middle name, and Alexandrina, which was the first name given to Queen Victoria.

Alice is another contender for Markle and Prince Harry’s baby name. Alice is the name of Queen Victoria’s second daughter, who is also a patron of women’s causes.

Rose may also be part of Markle and Prince Harry’s choices for baby girls’ names because this is the middle name of Princess Margaret. Eleanor is also now part of the list since she was one of the most powerful figures in the 12^th century as the Queen of France and England.
