Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Raising Son With ‘Absolute Equality,’ Reports Claim

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly raising their son with absolute equality.

The couple welcomed Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on May 6, and they introduced their firstborn to the entire world two days later. Over a month before Markle gave birth, she went on her maternity leave.

James Bickerton, a journalist for Express, said that Markle and Prince Harry are sharing the workload of taking care of their son equally. The Duke of Sussex, who is sixth in line to the throne, has also been changing his son’s diaper.

Several years ago, his older brother Prince William shared a hilarious story about the first time that he changed Prince George’s nappy. He said that he did the first nappy change, which was a badge of honor for him. The Duke of Cambridge also joked that the midwife was staring at him the whole time.

Meanwhile, Markle reportedly wants to return to her royal duties as soon as possible. A source told The Sun that the “Suits” alum doesn’t want to complete the usual maternity leave period of six months. When Kate Middleton gave birth to her three children, she went on six-month break.

“She has huge amounts of energy, is extremely determined, and wants to be as hands-on as possible with her charities,” the insider said.

Markle’s last official scheduled royal engagement was on March 11. She attended the Commonwealth Day Service with Prince Harry and the other members of the royal family.

In related news, Markle and Prince Harry are facing one major problem with regards to their newly-renovated home Frogmore Cottage. It has been revealed that private property is being investigated after a privacy hole was found.

It has been reported that parts of the royal couple’s home are visible from the Long Walk, which the tree-lined avenue across Windsor Great Park. The walk is open to the public and has prompted concerns.

The Sunday Times reported that a huge tree planting program is currently underway and used to cover the hole and shield the property from public view.
