Prince Harry ‘Personable, Approachable’; Kate Middleton, William ’Snub And Feel Too Privileged’
Prince Harry is more relatable compared to big brother Prince William and sister-in-law Kate Middleton, according to some netizens.
The Duke of Sussex’s interview at the Obama Foundation Summit 2017 recently resurfaced, and Prince Harry earned a lot of praise due to his statement at the event. Some netizens couldn’t help but compare him to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Some felt that Meghan Markle’s husband is warmer towards people compared to Prince William and Middleton. “He is so much personable , approachable and down to earth than his brother william. William and kate are snubs and feel too privileged! They have no black friends unlike PH who sees everyone as equal!” one netizen wrote.
Another netizen said that she thought Prince William was more similar to Princess Diana. However, it turned out that Prince Harry was more like their mom when it comes to connecting with people.
Mo Daniels agreed that Prince Harry is indeed down to earth. According to her, the soon-to-be dad “has always been humble” and takes after Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles. These royals have always talked about their position being a privilege and wanting to give back to the people.
“Unlike some who thinks and acts like it's their entitlement to be royal and they don't need to do anything,” she added, without dropping names.
Prince William and Middleton have been criticized for doing less compared to Prince Harry and Markle. In fact, the Duchess of Cambridge was dubbed “duchess do little“ as people believed she contributed very little to the monarchy.
In January, a number of netizens aired their disappointment of Middleton on social media because she’s been with the royal for eight years already, but she’s still not at a level they expected her to be. One user said that Middleton was “forever stuck at year 1.”
In related news, royal correspondent Tim Ewart also finds Prince William to be someone “very standoffish,“ “very controlling” and “not warm and fuzzy.” Daily Telegraph Australia columnist Sarrah Le Marquand confessed that the journalists didn’t feel the affection between them and the future king.
