Prince Harry Praised Princess Diana In Blue Dress While Watching Baptism Video
Prince Harry praised Princess Diana because she looked great in her blue dress.
On the 20th death anniversary of the late Princess of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge and Duke of Sussex spoke candidly about their mom. A clip from the royal brothers’ past interview has resurfaced on Instagram in the run-up to baby Archie’s baptism and in the video, Prince Harry could not help but praise his mother.
The video was taken on Prince Harry’s christening. In it, Princess Diana is carrying Prince Harry in her arms. She is wearing a matching blue dress and hat. Meanwhile, Prince Charles is carrying Prince William.
Prince William and Prince Harry watch the video ardently when suddenly the Duke of Sussex said something.
“Mommy looking great in blue,” Prince Harry said. “I’m still not convinced about the dress I’m in.”
In another clip, Prince William is seated facing the television when Princess Diana’s face is flashed on the screen. The camera focuses on the future king’s reaction.
Prince William stares at the screen, blinks his eyes and smiles coyly while nodding his head trying to hold back his tears. Royal fans noticed that the Duke of Cambridge is very emotional and is almost close to crying while watching Princess Diana.
Both Prince William and Prince Harry admitted that they regretted their last phone call with Princess Diana. The two boys were in Balmoral when Princess Diana called them. They were playing with their cousins and were in a hurry to end the call to return to their playtime.
According to Prince William, the phone call still “sticks in my mind quite heavily.” Prince Harry revealed that he was feeling the same and things would have turned differently if they knew it would be the last time that they would hear her voice.
“I’ll have to sort of deal with that for the rest of my life,” Prince Harry confessed.
“How differently that conversation could have panned out if I’d had even the slightest inkling her life was going to be taken that night.”
