Is Prince Harry Ready To Have Kids? Young Royal ‘Would Love’ To Have A Family Some Day

The Royal family may be expanding — but not just yet. Prince Harry is considering the possibility of having children one day.

During an interview with The Telegraph’s “Mad World” podcast, the 32-year-old revealed he’s open to being a family man one day. He added that he’s got plenty of experience, as he’s been chosen as the godfather of “five or six” of his friend’s children. Harry didn’t indicate whether settling down and becoming a father was in the near future.

“I, of course, I would love to have kids,” he said during the interview.

Right now Harry’s focused on his relationship with girlfriend Meghan Markle. The pair spent Easter weekend together in Toronto, which may be a sign that things are getting serious. According to E! News, Harry was spotted trying to be incognito while entering the “Suits” actress’ home.

While many fans of the couple thought Harry was visiting, it’s been widely reported that the Prince moved to Toronto to be with his girlfriend. According to Huffington Post Canada, the couple is trying to keep the move under wraps.

“Harry wants everyone to believe Meghan is moving to London to take attention away from the fact he moved to Toronto months ago,” one source said.

The pair reportedly made the decision to avoid the eyes of the paparazzi. They’re often flanked by photographers in England and thought moving to Canada would be best for their privacy. The source told Huffington Post Canada that Markle had her home renovated to accommodate her beau’s tastes as well as her own.

There has also been some speculation among fans that Markle is taking steps to prepare for the title she’d inherit if she and Harry were to marry. Those rumors peaked in early April, when the actress shut down her lifestyle website, The Tig. Markle announced the website’s end on Instagram, thanking her fans for their support and providing no real reason for the decision.

“After close to three beautiful years on this adventure with you, it’s time to say goodbye to The Tig,” she wrote. “What began as a passion project (my little engine that could) evolved into an amazing community of inspiration, support, fun and frivolity. You’ve made my days brighter and filled this experience with so much joy. Keep finding those Tig moments of discovery, keep laughing and taking risks and keep being ‘the change you wish to see in the world.’ Above all, don’t ever forget your worth — as I’ve told you time and time again: you, my sweet friend, you are enough. Thank you for everything.”

Some believed that Markle shut down the site to because of her relationship with Prince Harry, thoughothers claimed she simply needed to leave it to focus more on her career. Sources told People magazine that running the site was “a full-time job” and she couldn’t keep up with it anymore.

“She wants to focus on this season of ‘Suits,’ which just started filming and spending more time in the field on her philanthropy,” the source went on to say. “The Tig has been a labor of love for Meghan.”
