Prince Harry Reportedly Had ‘Secret Snog’ While Dating This Ex, Causing Split

Prince Harry was reportedly very flirtatious before he met Meghan Markle.

The Duke of Sussex reportedly had “a roving eye” when he was still dating Chelsy Davy. Prince Harry once even had a “secret snog” when Davy was away, according to a biographer.

Katie Nicholl shared some details about Prince Harry and Davy’s romance in her 2017 book, “Harry: Life, Loss and Love.” The author talked about how Prince Harry got himself in trouble due to his playboy tendencies.

“The truth was Harry had a roving eye when Chelsy wasn’t around and his flirting frequently landed him in hot water,” Nicholl wrote.

In 2011, shortly before Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding, Prince Harry joined the couple, along with Middleton’s sister Pippa. The Duke of Sussex reportedly drank a little too much alcohol and got a “little too amorous with one of the single guests.”

A source told Nicholl that Prince Harry kissed the girl as part of a dare, and they “ended up having a secret snog.” When the news reached Prince Harry’s girlfriend, she got upset.

“Chelsy found out about it, and she was really annoyed,” Nicholl’s insider added. “[Chelsy] has a wild side, but she was always very loyal.”

Davy was the longest relationship Prince Harry had. Prince Harry and Davy met in 2004 and dated on and off until 2011.

Before Prince Harry met Markle, he and Davy tried to rekindle their romance in 2015 by flying to Africa. According to Nicholl, neither of them were willing to completely let go. However, their hope for reconciliation didn’t work out because they never rekindled their romance after spending time together that summer.

Davy reportedly realized that she couldn’t do the same sacrifices Middleton does for Prince William. Davy was Prince Harry’s plus one during the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s royal wedding. However, the event didn’t help her seal her relationship with Prince Harry. Instead, it apparently only made her realize that she didn’t want to join the royal fold.

Davy reportedly felt that “the life of a royal bride was not for her.” After Prince William and Middleton’s wedding, Davy was convinced that she couldn’t cut it. In 2016, she said that dating a royal was “crazy and scary and uncomfortable.”​
